Anrui Hiyori smirked. There was nothing to do, for needs of the Assassination Squad had plummeted. Chances of her, being needed within the month, were slim to none. Arms crossed, and Tensai Nekura at her hip, Anrui strutted around Soul Society. There was no need for her to be active, she just felt like it. Hiyori shunpo’d around, being bored and having nothing to do, she was just trying to make up her mind. Then, a certain disturbance ruffled through the air. Hiyori landed and balanced on top of roof. She tried to pinpoint the direction of the reiatsu, but to no avail. Balanced, atop a high roof in the middle of the Seireitei, one would think that she should be able to, but she was unable to, almost as if, that certain reiatsu was, with her.
She closed her eyes and attempted to pinpoint the location again, this time with a clear, thoughtless mind. However, she was unable to again, for the reiatsu had vanished. Either it was a trick, or the person could mask their reiatsu very, very well. Hiyori opened her eyes and shunpo’d again, this time to a new location. Anrui’s hori was whipping about in her movement. There it was again, a ripple in reiatsu. Hiyori shook her head, knowing it would disappear soon. However, it did not. The heavy reiatsu was choking her. Either that or she was too close to a stronger captain. Who knew, she certainly did not know, she just knew her head was throbbing and she was losing focus. She slipped and fell to the ground. There, Hiyori stayed, waiting for the reiatsu to let up so she could move. When it did, she rose and stumbled. “Dammit! What the hell is all this reiatsu for?” She muttered under her breath. Hiyori backed against a wall and stood there, catching her breath. She was breathing heavily now, trying to regain strength. Then, she heard it. Footsteps. Whose they were, and why they were coming toward her, she had no idea, but she had a feeling that she soon would find out.
